Oil in the Blood
Motorbikes have been in my life from the moment I was born. Both my parents were avid motorcyclists, so as soon as they could, they had me in a sidecar off the side of Dad's Yamaha XS750.
I started riding bikes at the age of 7 and Drag Raced from the age of 12 to the age of 19, firstly in the Junior category then moving into the Seniors. In 2009 I was fortunate enough to build and race one of the first purpose-built electric Drag Bikes in the UK.
While my degree is in Motorcycle Engineering Design, since university I've had the chance to diversify my education, working for both BMW MINI (Production Planning) and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars (Supplier Quality Management and Bespoke Engineering).
Give me a chance to be in a race paddock or around a vehicle with something interesting going on then I'm certainly a happy man. The atmosphere and the people you meet are unrivalled.
If you've got a project vehicle or a race you'd like me to get involved with, then get in touch.
